My name is Ian Boyle and I am a diatonic harmonica player based in the UK. I am the harmonica player in Aethelred’s Bluesmen, a band based in the Wirral. I am a founder member Wirral Blues Club and proud to be able to promote blues music and provide a venue for blues bands to play.
In 2018 and 2019 I won the Blues and Rock harmonica player of the year at HarmonicaUK annual festival. I also came 1st and 3rd in the melodic category in the same years.
The harmonicas I use are the Seydel Session Steel, Seydel1847 and Hohner Crossover
